Polish Aviation Museum

Polish Aviation Museum

One more aviaton Museum? NEVER! An amazing museum situated on an old Cold War airstrip. Apart from a great Cold War collection of MIGs and other newer aircraft, it had an impeccable collection of WW1 and WW2 aircraft, including some of Herman Goering’s personal planes and the spectacularly mint condition aircraft that opened the 1936 Olympics. A bonus are all guns and vehicles from the Cold War period. Air fans, do not miss the place!

How to get there

Take a tram nr 4, 5, 10 from Main Railway Station/in the direction Nowa Huta/get off at AWF, then walked back about half a km and the museum is on the right up a side lone.
